MICROCOSM EXHIBITION-EXPERIENCE
MICROCOSM is a personal reflection on recognizing the macro within the micro by visual artist Camila Muradas. In the wing of a butterfly, the formation of shells, the growth of leaves, the way glass breaks, the shifting forms and colors of a soap bubble. It is an appreciation of the patterns that move through everything, where organic and synthetic forms are not separate or opposing, but part of the same nature. The natural and the artificial as different expressions of one unity.
This series is part of an ongoing process, using photography as a tool for recognition, observation, and contemplation of the whole through its smaller, more particular parts, especially through macro photography. Most images were created in unplanned moments, guided by a sense of attention and curiosity toward the geometries found in everyday life.
The exhibition opening was a collaborative effort, featuring a live experimental folktronica set by Brazilian artist Kurup, minimalist food by Ateliê Bistro, dimly lit photographic prints, a video installation with fabric by Camila Muradas, and movable modular furniture shaping the ambiance.
